I definitely agree with you mentioning the scrapped version is visually more like the game's style, but at the current moment it's aaall about backgrounds, and angles/poses for NAC. Plus, they scrapped the original attempt because there was a lack of inspiration basically; It didn't have any real 'emotion' or 'weight' behind it. Can't really pass judgement on the belly thing, as this one was actually originally meant to be more skintight. My preference by far too but, in the end we settled down for what you see here. Was easier and less time consuming considering NAC's goals for the time being.

Thanks. The scrapped picture I ended up just copying the proportions/shapes for Holly, it was really lazy actually and incorporating the style into a more thought out scene would be a lot more work. As the artist in question, it's actually a combination of these two things; initially I badly overworked my hands while trying to get on top of commissions and requests, resulting in me developing a lot of symptoms of Carpal Tunnel. This ended up with me having to stop drawing for a time while I let my hands recover.

But afterwards as 7520615 mentioned after my hands recovered I started trying to pursue a career as an artist outside of this particular niche fetish. It also didn't help that I'd kinda burned out on doing vore art/smut.

I don't think she's bad because she's a Mary Sue, in fact depending on mood that can play heavily in her favor. The real problem I have is no consistent characterization, which is an easy thing to happen when you're creating fetish art. My suggestion to them if they were listening is focus in on a few key traits, make Ryla's character more obvious because all I know right now is she eats people and has a decent sexy design.
