I don't really hold opinions of people or artists online, but I like this guys work, I am patreon to several artists, and this guy is the only guy online that pisses me off. I was a generous patreon for a good 6 months+ when he started up, he sperged out so I left and recently he's been making comics so I decided to join his patreon again, you have to spend $50 a month to get half of a 10~ page comic's 'early access' and way more to get the entire comic.

I don't mind paying for weird porn shit that is niche. This guy treats patreon like commissions, if he gets X dollars, he does X pages. Ok, that seems reasonable, but he's a shitty about it, and you never know what you will actually get aside from 1/3 random shot of a comic's 'WIP' and some generic pin up of a character. He doesn't post the comic, he messages you it. Then he advertises his content that you have to buy, on his patreon.

That's usually something that NAC and I find a bit of pride in, using less common characters in media for pictures. Some of the appeal and fun is looking up characters that either one or neither of us are familiar with, but also how dull more overexposed characters are to work with and thus making these more appealing.

It's also partly why only some of the requests in these threads gets picked up by the two of us, as opposed to all of them. And also an obvious help when the request is atleast more than, you know, a 5 word sentence describing almost nothing.

You can expect us to keep at this, or atleast doing more unusual, unique poses and stomach bulges, as it helps how low-committal the pictures are, like the Ai one. And you're right on the Skullgirls Nancy/Parasoul pieces too, as I worked on the small bit of dialogue in them, and usually have for a few other pics for NAC.

If you wanna only consider extremes, you do that. But it's hard to justify and defend a request that's so tiny and lacking in almost ANY detail when you aren't the one doing the art or labour. A paragraph is too long, of course, but the requester should put in atleast some thought into the request.

For NAC and myself, something in the middle isn't hard to work with nor unreasonable to ask for. Enough to make an idea appealing and unique, concise enough to not glaze over.

My brain is a jumbled mess most of the time, but I'll try to explain what catches my interest.
- Characters without a ton of vore content already, I'm not really filling a gap in content anywhere so I'd rather spend my time elsewhere.
- Obscure characters tend to fall out of that character just by virtue of being obscure, so why I tend to gravitate towards them.
- Finally it's the feeling I get from a request, the more eagerness I see for the idea the more I feel the time I put in will be appreciated, which is why I picked up and enjoyed doing the Kizuna Ai picture.

I didn't make any of the straw polls, but I was the guy who wrote up the original analysis.

If you read the original posts, I said that most people like aspects of all three types, but usually one is most important. Their core arousal from vore comes from fetishizing that aspect of it, and their enjoyment of other parts comes from how it relates to that one.

My original purpose in writing was mostly to see what other people thought of my idea. I also hoped that if people understood some of *why* people with different preferences had those preferences, they might get along better instead of arguing about which preferences are "true vore" and which is horrible perversion/pussification.

Somebody directed me towards this post from one of my streams. I think you're right, actually. $50 a month seems really unfair for Early Access. When I initially set up my rewards, I did them rather arbitrarily - so criticisms such as this are definitely due. Thanks.

Also, I stopped posting rewards via messenger when I found out that Patreon only allows processed, forward-paying pledgers to view content. Been this way for a few months now.

This pops up so often in art and user-created characters in games, so it's kind of a common occurrence really, but unless going for an intentionally stylized aesthetic, arms and hands should extend fully to the mid-thigh, and hands should usually be large enough to reach the ends of the face with your finger tips. As you can see, Mipha's arms and hands are incredibly tiny compared to the rest of her body, which looks stretched out by comparison. Her thighs are also quite a bit longer than her shins, when it should be a tad more equal length-wise. And this might just be me, but her left thigh's perspective seems a bit off, a bit closer to the viewer than I assume you intended.

Even with these hiccups, I encourage you to keep at it man. You can only get better doing something long enough. We all gotta start somewhere, bumps and all.

Well, like I said, we all gotta start somewhere. You rarely if ever start being good at anything just from the get-go. And really, it's less about being good or bad or anything like that, it's more important that you enjoy drawing in the end. It's a hobby, you should enjoy it first, and be good at it second.

Of course I won't shoot down someone's attempts to actually get better, and would love to offer as much help as possible for that. I'm no real artist myself, far more of a writer, but I like to think I have an eye for art. You can find me on Eka's if you like.

Anyway as for the Splatoon pic, it's definitely got more detail in it, and a cartoony aesthetic is always easier to work with at a more amateurish levels. Again, always mind the arms.

Love the work man, also as for the 'Vore' patreon thingy setting it up as an alternate low-tier buy-in might be cool, so you don't have to double your workload. Cost=Quantity+Quality is what I look for in patreon, and while you may not always put out vore (or to be more specific, same-size), the quality alone justifies the cost for me.

I can't draw but I do write a lot. I get no enjoyment from reading my own stuff. I find it cringe, notice the flaws and how I could have written it better. I suspect this is why so many artists do art trades with each other. It is not an uncommon feeling from what I can see.

I, on the other hand can find my own work attractive despite being very subpar; mostly if I draw my own, specific niche tastes. I can past all the shit I do wrong if what's being depicted really knocks my socks off at least. (Makes me feel if I'm just a narcissist at time, though.)
