I have no clue if I got the colours right or not. I tried using the picture that was posted last thread, >>7322058, and I picked one of the background pillars for the hairbrush.

Sadly, I can't edit gifs, so I can only colours still pictures. We're still far, far away from an hand drawn animated sequence.

Tried with Aqua. Since that picture is a bit more sketchy than the Megumin one, there are some details that are lost during the colouring, namely her red ass, and probably the tears too.

Well, I found out I can export your gifs as an image sequence, so I can safely edit them. You should still make a Google Drive just in case.
There's still the issue of being unable to make them into a gif again because I have no idea how Comic Studio Paint handles animations and it seems counter-intuitive.
Also, I fixed Kazuma's legs in that picture, since I failed to notice it before, but he's wearing shorts instead of pants. I'm probably not going to upload the updated picture right now beicase I already uploaded it four times and I can't delete them.

To look 'right' the sketches would need 2nd and even 3rd tone highlights marked (which they dont) this stuff is more comic lines then cell style. Color gradient is also often used now in the digital paint era...

Anyway, I started reading the "fanfic", and I'm really surprised by how different the characters feel between the manga and the novel, kinda like in Overlord.
In the manga, Aqua is a bit of a klutz, while in the novel, she's really immature and sometimes I wonder if she's not retarded.

Just to say that after only two chapters, I felt obligated to stare at a picture of Aqua getting her ass roasted to forget about how I would beat the crap out of her if I was in Kazuma's shoes.
And the others aren't better. The manga is really light-hearted, but the "fanfic" gives everything a serious vibe, so when Kazuma complains about his party being incredibly shitty, you feel it. Maybe I just emphasize with text better than with the manga.

Like most things, the written material is the strongest. Mega ditto on Overlord, you can't begin to get a sense of how nerve-racked the MC is really in the anime version.

Since it becomes generally accepted that Kazuma is Aqua's guardian, I could totally him on occasion getting a serious face and telling her to 'get the brush and wait in the living room' every so often...That said him doing the spanking would ruin their dynamic...A 'I'm telling Mom and then you'll be sorry' side to their almost sibling relationship? I never watched the anime, be it of Konosuba or Overlord, but I was really surprised at Momuz's personality in the novel.
In the manga, he's shocked by the suddeny changes and his actions are pretty obscure. You have a hard time figuring what his goals are, but in the novel, he immediately start suspecting his vassals may try to overthrow him, and he makes it clear he's really attached to said vassals, and that he's extremely careful. In the manga, you see him changing a character's biography, and that's all, in the novel, he actually feels bad for editing her. The novel just allows a level of details that is completely forgotten in the manga (and probably the anime) to focus on the servants and how they react to Momus' actions.
Same thing for that other novel I'm fond of, Kumo Desu Ga, Nani Ka, the manga is designed to be fun and cute, but the novel is pretty dark and go pretty deep in the characters' psyche, with a lot of monologues and musings.

And given Aqua's behaviour so far, she's the kind of girl that would need a spanking every week to remember to be careful.
Same for Megumin, but Megumin would probably trade with Aqua to have Kazuma spanks her instead of Darkness, to everyone's benefit.
