Nobody in Particular seems to have stood the test of time so maybe something along those lines? You might also look for inspiration from LemonFont. I really love his art.

Nitro Titan also seems to be a favorite around here from time to time, more comes in waves. I personally think his scenes of multiples in the giant tub of chocolate could have gone a few more frames. If you are looking to do something with multiple frames it also seems to go well when you make the pred talk or mention her larger assets.

I have several criticisms myself for the vore content, although I still enjoyed it for that.
I really liked the bosses compared to previous games by this developer. Take for instance the Succubus boss in Viocide(previous game), her pattern was so damn easy to memorize and abuse that it was nearly impossible for me to lose to, I even tried getting to her at the minimum level possible on very hard and still couldn't find ways to legitimately lose.

I find that Starcrossing's coloring and lines look really good together. It's the extreme sameface syndrome that makes me dislike his art, Starcrossing's face gets plastered on to all other girls besides Starcrossing's friend, and guys faces are just wonky.

Well, he's super god damn popular on Ekas and undoubtedly raking in mondo cash from patreon + commissions, so it would be pretty dumb of them to steer from their working formula at this point.

You make a very good point about Starcrossing having found a lucrative niche to wedge himself into. However:

I still think he needs to start experimenting and mixing his art up a bit to keep it interesting. I haven't looked through his gallery in a while but from memory I believe most of them are either a straightforward pinup image of a curvy sameface girl drawn in an anime style, with or without a belly, or a short vore sequence that doesn't actually show any vore. His drawings always look technically correct and well polished but they lack any real exciting features.

Take the vore sequence >>7098796 as an example of how to do it right. Although you could argue that the drawing is a bit cruder than Starcrossing's work (it's still good, don't get me wrong) it's a much better piece of vore art. The swallowing scene is dynamic with some anatomical fantasy without looking too impossible (this is a difficult thing to do). The digestion is done really well too, as if she's pulling her gut in as it gets softer. I don't think I've seen it portrayed like that before. Through gesture and facial expressions the characters also show some... character, as opposed to Starcrossing's characters who just seem to be going through the motions. If I wanted to buy a commission, I know with Starcrossing I wouldn't get anything I haven't seen before.

Perhaps I'm being overly autistic over what is essentially fap-fodder but Starcrossing strikes me as someone who has found his comfort zone and doesn't want to leave it. It's fine, it's his choice, but I reckon he could be better than that if he tried.

I find Starcrossing to be the perfect example of that guy who wants to get good at art by doing the same shit he's comfortable with over and over again. He's good at doing really basic same-y stuff.. but... that's it.

My personal cut-off point would be the prey being tightly curled up and the bulge being clearly visible. Generally I guess ~2x size difference between pred and prey.

No one has gotten it to look good yet. The models aren't rigged for this level of depravity. Some have tried but it's always super jarring/ tons of clipping. Boogie made/ is making a custom 3D midna model with a fully modeled month, throat, and stomach as well as vagina and asshole. Haven't seen anything come of it yet other than when he was making it.

I got into blender just to figure out how to make a good vore animation. I have a few issues with it but it's mostly what you said. Clipping issues and realistic bellies are tough to do. Other issues include a realistically streching mouth and other bodyparts to suit the object going in, which is pretty tough even by itself.

Honestly If someone with the tallent gets around to just getting some slap-on bellies for models like they do cocks then you can just do shots where you dont actually see the pred swallow the prey. Off screen or making it so you only see legs going down would make it more feasible.
