Circle head is again, stylistic choice - a lot of the "roundness" and "goofy-ness" to my designs is because they're intentionally supposed to be cartoon-y. I *can* do realistic facial proportions (took several classes) but I don't feel the need to with this stuff.

The leg is so short on the girl in the shade b/c I was trying to do perspective - it's supposed to be pointed towards the "camera."

Arm and thighs of inflated girl is so long b/c she's elastic - she's stretching them.

However, with regards to the lighting and shadows I wholeheartedly agree - that's one thing I've never really gotten down. However I am improving gradually as I experiment.

Not all stylistic choices are good ones. The head method there is lazy, forces sameface, and gives every character an overbite. A more expressive approach would benefit you.
The leg is also too short because the foot doesn't progress far enough in relation to the ground.

Maybe it was your earlier works I saw in another thread, but if I was to throw out some criticism I'd say that while your anatomy was solid, I felt that a couple of your characters in drawings you made were very difficult to differentiate between male and female. Some of your women had very manly, square shoulders and, while I figure you were trying to convey an athletic or toned woman, they looked more like transvestites.

That being said, some of your more recent work doesn't seem to have that issue as much, though I feel like a lot of your art still lacks physical depth. I would definitely recommend watching that video on foreshortening.

I kept waiting for the Saw movies to do some kind of horrifying inflation death even though Im not into guro stuff.

Like, they could have a lady strapped to a chair with a hose up her butt thats connected to a huge empty tank above her. And then the tank has a key inside strapped to a ball that will float in water, and the tank only has a small opening for a hand to reach inside at the very top, so the tank has to be filled with a massive amount of water to float the key up to the top so somebody can grab it and free the woman from the chair. But as they fill the tank the water starts going down the hose and pumping the lady in the chair up, complete with button up shirt popping open as she swells up.
