>The second trimester is the longest and consists primarily of the larva growing in size. Their organ systems are very simple in their larval stage so the term "development" is really limited to their muscles, digestive tract, and complex nervous system that will eventually develop into that of a sentient being. A few days into this trimester is when a host reaches their minimal abdominal growth due to the decreasing FANE levels.
