Am I not even allowed to advertise my stuff without giving it away for free? Besides, by almost displaying the content, people get an accurate idea what the content is like and can make a better judgement about whether they care enough support my stuff.

Besides you being pretty popular here, I'd assume one of the reasons people are so quick to try and find other ways to get the picture is because of how it's only a piece of it missing.

I have discussed with some people how I should eventually start distributing old content for free eventually, but then again someone is probably going to leak it before that.
I am not going to go on for a witch hunt on sadpanda galleries and 4chan etc. but I am not going to say I approve it either. I'm pretty proud how long it took before my CG set got uploaded, so if someone delayed their piracy actions to let the product accumulate some sales before letting loose, then I say I appreciate it.

But yeah, sorry about the tease on Pixiv. (I will still "inform" people about stuff on my Twitter because it's my main status and info feed)

From what I understood, there was no plans or intentions to release content to the general public after it had been up for a while.
I'm no artist, and certainly not in your shoes, but I know I'd be a lot less tempted to hunt for those images for free if I knew I could get them later- even if later is a long time, such as six months/a year, or if they're only released in big batches of "old" images every so often. I don't know if it would stop someone from subbing just to spread the images around, but it might help reduce the "demand" to announce such a thing.

Even when I do have more disposable income, I don't know if I'd ever be able to afford the higher tiers, so it's something I'd want even as a patreon supporter.

Though, again, I've never done patreon anything before, so my advice might be crap.
