"Tried this out last night. The short answer is that-when you get it right-it works.

The long answer is: the length of the wrist restraint ropes and the leg-arm connecting rope take a bit of fine-tuning to be effective, though someone experienced will have no problem with it (just a guess since I'm not very good at all). Also be aware of the total width of the rope used in the wrist restraint-add a loop (or two) just to be sure you're not cutting off circulation, especially if you're using rope smaller than 1/2" in width. Making a blight of the rope in the wrist-ankle connector is also an idea.
I also think a sort of emergency release mechanism to get at least one of your wrists free would be nice-this can get really tight. If not, follow general safety protocol and keep plenty of scissors/release tools around.

Look at the image I posted. I listed the items I used. you can be creative and do what ever you feel comfortable with.

You've got a double rope going down from your neck with four simple overhands along the front and three where the back will be (with a simple overhand loop behind the neck); the rope goes under the crotch (A great place to tie in a vibrator) and up the back. METHODS
========
Foreword: This is just how I did it, be creative.

To be safe, start with the rope handcuffs. Get one of the 5 foot ropes and the tutorial. Practice tying and untying your hands in front of you, then in front of you blindfolded, then behind you. Point of this step is to be sure you can get out of the situation you put yourself in.

Lay the scissors somewhere nearby, just in case you get stuck.

Now stuff starts getting sexy! Start tying the 4chan shibari on yourself. After you finish the front knots but before you pass it under your crotch, lube up the buttplug, and insert it, turned off. Dry your hands and finish the shibari as the graphic describes. The shibari will hold the plug firmly in, unless you curl forward too much.

Try not to constrict your penis assembly. My dick area was quite sore after, but I think you can run the front ropes through the lowest slot, too, to pull the slot wider and ease the pressure a bit.

Next,sit on your bed and use a handcuff knot to tie your legs together. I tied mine just above the knee, and I liked it. Yep.
