Bojack's not really a comedy though. I has a lot of wordplay and some jokes, but it's not it's main appeal.

If there were more cartoons airing that were primarily action or drama oriented instead of being comedies with those elements, I would probably be watching them instead. But since most cartoons are comedies, I think I settle for the ones with more plot and lore. Right now it's just about the only way to get that stuff out of the medium, I think.
