I definitely remember there being fanfic on old cartoon forums that had shows like Fosters and Ben 10 acting as villains trying to take over CN from shows like EEnE and PPG. But then again the same forums had even older fanfic that was the Eds vs the Powerpuff girls, so make of that what you will.

Didn't it get like 5 seasons and a TV movie? Most of those shows you mentioned barely got past season 1. What makes you think Camp Lazo wasn't popular?

This was CN's worst year. I know it's just Teen titans and Gumball now, but many of those cartoons didn't feel new. Before that, we had shitty renewals of Dexter's Laboratory and Johnny Bravo.

I even still believe Flapjack and Chowder saved/reestablished the CN original

I'm old enough to remember constant 'RIP Cartoon Network 1992 - 2004' posts. But then it morphed into 'RIP Cartoon Network 1992 - 2007' for a while. And I've begun to see 'RIP Cartoon Network 1992 - 2010' posts recently.

I guess it depends on when you were born and what era you've got nostalgia for growing up.
