The original trailer actually featured Spiderman stopping a terrorist attack by making a giant web between the towers to catch the plane. This shot exists because of the tragedy he averted. The trailer got pulled and the scenes cut from the movie.

I miss it when trailers pulled shit like this, instead of just re-cutting used footage over popular music or some character's narration. Kind of reminds me of that Lilo and Stitch trailer that crossed over with Aladdin.
