From what I understand they stopped airing the series on CN, even reruns, and it got moved to Boomerang. Now they are just burning off whats left of season 2 to fulfill their initial contract but once that's done they won't be making any more.

That's what killed it. The art is by default associated with the WORST shit animation produced, and the shows that used it have that terrible, vulgar jewish humor. This was just a funny show without the garbage. And it was good - the art killed it.
