ITT: Favorite live action /co/ adapted costumes/designs.

This is honestly one of my favorite Snake Eyes designs in general. Great combo of ninja and military.
>>
>>95201035
I hated how they gave the first one a mouth, seriously this is one of the easier costumes to adapt and they go and do that shit.
>>
>>95201178

I fucking love it. It's the perfect balance of realism and cheese that manages to make Ant-Man's look, which is kind of ridiculous even for comics, work so well.

Agreed, Snake Eyes is something the movies actually got right.

Yes, I still prefer this look over the one in Civil War. I'm sure he'll be changed up again in AMATW

Pic related for me. It's just so cool, with the black accents
>>
>>95201178
The first movie was a complete waste of potential. They didn't have to change shit from the original beyond a couple of new costume designs. Then they tried to remove everything bad about the first movie in the second, but never saw Channing Tatum turn his career around.

He brought the correct level of crazy for Ultron, Whedon's Ultron was pretty meh but that wasn't Spader's fault.

Honestly if they had made Yellow Jacket one of Hank's AIs I would have been OK with it.

It's OK. Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow steal the show. The Rock does the Rock stuff. I think it's only like 5 of the Joes, plus Bruce Willis. Overall, it's a decent movie if you want to waste 90 minutes.

Yeah, its a damn shame how close that movie got to the look and feel of the comics (even the ridiculous crotch armour kinda fits the 90's aesthetic the comics were in at the time) but they utterly ballsed up the the story

I prefer the improvised version he had before that one; the M1 helmet and jacket really screams "WWII" to me, more than yours (not that your pick is bad, I just like the better fit with the American Army's WWII look).

Movies Snake Eyes was a weird combo. His storyline in the first movie was the only good part about it, but he looked like shit.

His storyline was the worst part about the second movie, but he looked fucking great.

Making Ultron the big bad of Avengers was a mistake. He honestly should've been the main villain of Ant Man as a project discarded by Pym, leading up to him eventually being an Avengers grade villain.

There's so much in this movie that the ripped from the comics and made some small changes to, such a massive disappointed that they didn't do the same with the story.

Hopefully rebellions own TV show will deliver on that front, can't wait to see the judges uniforms from that!
>>
>>95205881
I think the First Avenger outfit is a perfect balance between "superhero tights" and an actual uniform/combat clothing.
The Ultron outfit is clearly designed from scratch to be a flashy hero outfit.
My favorite thing (also showing the difference between two outfits) is the red and white stripes on the stomach. In FA it's white padded cloth that has red belts/suspenders over it. It's obviously not practical, but it pretends to serve some purpose and could have been made from what they had at hand.
In the AoU uniform, the stripes a purely decorative pattern
>>
>>95206618
Intentional design change justified by the museum's costume being inaccurate.
>>
>>95208433
>I think the First Avenger outfit is a perfect balance between "superhero tights" and an actual uniform/combat clothing.
>The Ultron outfit is clearly designed from scratch to be a flashy hero outfit.

I disagree on the AoU bit. As far as I see it, it's a modernization of his WWII uniform. The 'flashy hero outfit' was clearly his Avengers 1 uniform, as it clearly was a modernization of his propaganda tights.

>In FA it's white padded cloth that
>In the AoU uniform, the stripes a purely decorative pattern

Somewhat true, but that's not inherently a bad thing. Those suspenders were part of a harness. Cap (for whatever reason he needed a harness for in his WWII uniform) didn't need a harness, so the red stripes became part of his top. Which is fine. You gotta recognize that even in universe, Cap's look is iconic. He's regarded as the first superhero.

>The 'flashy hero outfit' was clearly his Avengers 1 uniform, as it clearly was a modernization of his propaganda tights.
Okay, you're right, I can't argue with that. The Avengers 1 outfit was peak flashiness with no semblance of practicality whatsoever. And In my opinion, A1 was the worst of all outfits, even including the propaganda suit - at least the propaganda suit was intentionally cheap and silly.

>You gotta recognize that even in universe, Cap's look is iconic.
Fair enough. I guess they covered their asses here, nobody can every blame them for his outfits looking too silly - even in universe they might be silly looking, since he's wearing them primarily for branding.
Still I prefer the First Avenger one if only because it seems like looks like it was supposed to be utility first, aesthetics second.

If I were to rate the different uniforms, I'd say:
First Avenger > Avengers2 > Stealth (I love the "winged" star) > Winter Soldier > Propaganda > Avengers 1
(I don't even count the "rescue mission" one)

>>95206084
this one's my favorite as far as love action goes, I like that they gave him Ditko eyes and the small black detailing I think gives it a nice balance between "comic superhero suit" and "real life military outfit". the devil is in the details when it comes to porting costumes to live action
>>
