I made 3 "new" ones when I was little (maybe 7 or 8). Just doodled them on a piece of paper. The leader was a normal-looking Bunny, because she deserved it. One was in a yellow dress and had red twin braids.. The other was in an orange dress and white, straight hair. Both followed the "B" naming convention.
I bring this up because even as an embarrassing little autist, I understood patterns. Names start with "B," normal hair color, and to keep them different without adding too much detail, to stay with the style of the show. That was before I even thought of studying character/color design.

Her name is Blanca. She's ambiguously either Latina or white. No one seems to know.

It's one of those things we accept in older stories, but does anyone still do it? In the Green Lantern movie it was realistic how Carol immediately recognized Hal. It was kinda silly in the Batman and Robin movie how Barbera had to identify herself to Bats and Robin, as though they wouldn't have recognized her.
