It would have symbolism of depression, suicide, and use of violence as a means to an end.

As for Darkseid himself, he wouldn't know who he was as he grows over the arc. He'd be trained to do good, looking up to even Superman, with Supes showing sympathy to Darkseid, knowing who he is. It would then show his fall from being a hero into what he originally was. No Granny Goodness shit either.

People notice and they chase him down whIle peter struggles to get his mind back Otto slowly is being infected by Peter and actually learns to be a hero. Some shit comes up stopping peter from taking his body back do to ock knowing a location of a hidden base and they have to work together saving new york. In the end the climax has the doctor giving peter's mind back for the greater good due to peter teaching him true responsibility. Ock is saved and finds out he is a copy of ock while ock made multiple mental copies and gets his own cloned body to help fight against a real Doc Ock.

easiest one is main arch nemesis hero gets killed off and the villain seeks revenge, maybe even tries to fill the shoes of the hero afterwards.

do it like a sort of conspiracy, investigation type shit, also add in some flashbacks of the hero and villain having a beer, catching a break having an honest conversation or any small moment type shit that lets the reader know the villain isnt an animal and that he had a history and a sort of friendship with the hero. this may even be retcon for all i care, they're important to the story. doom by benis is a good example of this.

this setting could work for green goblin ( even if we got heroic normie before ), bullseye and DD, zemo and cap, really works for most characters which is why it's been done to death

After some cosmic adventures Pondering about the nature of the universe and reality he comes to see that life, and sentient life at that, is a bizarre weird one in a million chance thing to happen, and it's even less probable for it to develop to the scale of say the alien empires and civilizations that are always going around in the marvel comics. He just loves death, but the death of everything would also nullify the concept of death itself, so in some strange decision he decides that instead of pursing total control of everything to render it unto death, he will instead self appoint as weird galactic overseer or gardener that makes sure there's neither too much life sprouting all at once or too much death, maintaining the entropy of the universe to a steady but manageable level. He'd still do things like wipe out certain species, kidnap unique individuals and generally do as he pleases without so much as an explanation, but it'd be overall less of a genocidal space maniac and more of a universal level mad scientist.

A fascist government (or alien invaders or whatever) takes over America and defeats the Justice League, so Joker decides that the best way to have fun without Batman is to fight the power, and becomes a terrorist rebel determined to throw as much wrenches into plans of the regime as he can. Eventually he starts cooperating more and more with the resistance, and as much as he hates to admit that, he starts growing fond of them. Eventually, at one point he decides to sacrifice his life to secure retreat of the resistance fighter during a crucial mission. Then probably dies, since I don't think a mass murderer like Joker could get redemption without death.
