there's actually one thing I like about how Henderson draws Squirrel Girl that I wish other artists would pick up on, Henderson draws Doreen as being visibly fit(and not just the generic sort most artists draw, like she has visible noticeable muscle tone without it going overboard either), it's a body type that is oddly very rare at Marvel(but is slightly more common over at DC)

I also like the idea of Doreen having very plump lips(goes well with her buck teeth in my opinion), but Henderson does them really badly

That's a hard question. There's many artists that have come and gone and no one would remember them. Henderson's problem with most people is she still has a job.

It's not even her style that's the whole problem. She doesn't know how to make comics. She doesn't know how to design panels for flow. She doesn't plan ahead for balloons. She breaks the 180 rule a lot.

Arguably, some of this is the writer's fault because he writes too much dialogue. I don't know how much input he has in the layout.

Liefeld's art is grotesque and often terrible but at the very least he usually knows his comic fundamentals. If a better artist drew based on his paneling it might look good. You can't say the same for Henderson.
