I like to think as comics, particularly Marvel comics as windows into a certain characters life, and unlike DC where most of the events are contained to their book, all the character events that follow into the next Marvel book, meaning that what happens to them in say, Secret Empire, affects their main book. This means we are witnessing what is happening in their daily lives of Supers and that we know things that they themselves don't, Like OMD, which would make Peter ball up in a corner and give up on life when he realizes that his life has been ruined by a short bald man with a hate boner. I revel in the the fact that if they realize that their is an intruder looking into their daily lives and how their very lively hood depends on their being intruders looking in on them would probably break them.

I'm a total normie when it comes to Marvel, so, besides knowing Spider-Man's secret identity, not a whole lot, especially since half of the superhero community has public identities, anyway. I don't have the heart to be cruel or be a villain, anyway, so I'd never abuse what knowledge I have.

Then again, I'd rejoice in the fact that I'll be 20-35 forever, can be resurrected in multiple ways if I died (as long as my name isn't Ben Parker), have the physique of an Olympic athlete with little to no exercise, and can do anything and get released from prison in weeks or have the public forget about it.
