What is the most iconic panel in comic books? Not covers, panel. It can be a one/two page spread as long as it's just one panel.
Entirety of Born Again.

>Daredevil comic so great it spilled a bit of greatness on Captain America
>>95065464
>>95066246
Remove this garbage.
Argument he makes can justify Doctor Doom and fucking Zemo.
>>95066290
>Centurion armor
There's something just majestic about it.
It's just a little moment, but it always sticks out in mind when I think of Iron Man. When I knew little about comics and read Born Again he really felt like a man from bigger world than Matt, the way Miller showed Avengers was really great, you know Kingpin done goofed when Avengers have to pitch in in his quarrels.
>>95065464
If this doesn't get you hard I don't know what will.
Akira's got some real stand-out moments presented in one panel, most people are more familiar with the movie though.
>>95066318
Individual freedom, man.
>>95066897
most recognizable panel in franco-belgian comics.
Pretty much the moment Wolverine became the hella agressive sniktbub everyone knows.
Ignore the cover I guess.
>>95066512
I loved this panel. It's probably the most Jack Kirby panel ever.
>>95066025
This one too.
>>95065464
It's absurd that anyone's posting anything other than the car lift panel from Action Comics #1.
Will people bitch about me if I place JoJo?
Because Josuke vs Highway Star is quite possibly one of the best fights in comics/manga.
After all the shit he did to Matt Murdock, Peter Parker and countless others in the MU; this scene was so satisfying for me.
>>95071483
Never got the hype behind this one desu
>>95071601
It's essentially the movie "Speed" with Keanu Reeves with great pacing in the action sequences. ('cept the Koichi part which was forced).
It also showcased the best of Josuke's fixing abilities and Joseph Joestar's wit within him.
I don't know what's iconic for others, but for me the most iconic moment is that one panel when Hellboy eats pancakes. That's something every comicfag knows.
>>95066287
Indeed.
>>95066194
>>95066218
Fuck yeah Born Again
>>95068695
Probably because it's the cover that's iconic, not a panel.
>>95071601
Highway Star and Yuuya are shit. It's not the best fight in the series or even the best fight in the part. But seeing the bike break apart as he flips over the baby carriage is just a really cool sequence.
Same goes for the part where Rohan says BUT I REFUSE to Yuya's bitch ass.
>>95071483
The train fight in Vento is way better.
This is the one that comes to mind.
>>95068695
Because it's the car lift cover people remember.
I forgot he even did it in the story.
The most iconic panel is probably him leaping around with the qoman on the way to the jail.
>>95071789
>Hating on Yuuya
t. Rohan
After so many years, his death panel should be the most iconic thing in comicbook history. What else could compete with this? The final conclusion to over two decades. There's nothing else that achieved anything remotely resembling this. I challenge any of you to show me something that made people relieved in such a way. A sigh of relief, that Cerebus the monster of a character, and a monster of a series.
>>95071713
those first three panels are great
How is it even a question?
>>95066052
I got a boner looking at that
>>95071584
I really like the page where he tells he's not going to kill him as Spider-man but as Peter Parker
>>95066318
Of all people why should Spider-man listen to what Marvel citizens and politicians say?
This one was a 2 pager.
>>95066246
>>95066318
I think context helps.
>>95071483
>not posting the most iconic battle in the series
ISHYGDDT
>>95071821
What was the best story in action one and why is is scoop scanlon 5 star reporter.
>>95072527
That's two panels.
>>95073428
Only because I couldn't be bothered to search for the one on the left by itself.

What is this from?

Godzilla vs. Charles Barkley, of course.
>>95072591
I remember when this first came out and the shitstorm it caused by having Deathstroke Nothing Personal Kid like six JLA members at once.
>>95073470
I would have thought the right panel more iconic.
You have all posted great panels, but most are just that, great, not iconic.
This, however, is the obvious answer.
>>95074671
Naw, dude, all about the SNAP
>>95074852
The line is iconic not the panel as a whole.
>>95074952
Yeah, it's clearly not the layout, the outfit, or a defining moment in their relationship. Totally just that line.
>>95074852
Nah, Bane breaking Batman's back is more iconic >>95074111
>>95074802
JEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN
>>95075343
>i'm lizs dad.
Perfect
>>95075463
That's why I said most and not all. There are a few in the thread that are genuinely iconic. If you can see an homage and instantly tell what it's doing, then you have a real icon and not just a great piece of art.
Pic related, the X-men cover is rad, but I would never have caught the homage if it wasn't pointed out to me (I would call the 5 piece variant covers for the X-men iconic).
The hill they choose to die on.
