This is the shit that made Kevin Feige avoid the Inhumans like the plague. There is no way to make a group like this likeable to a massive audience.

Instead they cancelled it, decided to do a series, and then cast characters the next week and then started filming soon after, all to rush production for a release 9 months later. Nothing with a production like that can come out well. It was more like:

-Feige and Ike come to a reluctant agreement that in exchange for a Captain Marvel movie being made, an Inhumans movie would be made. Feige wants to have a superheroine film, Ike wants something that can go up against Fox's X-Men.
-Age of Ultron happens, makes money but doesn't meet expectations.
-Feige uses this plus incidents that happened during filming of Civil War to convince Disney to push Ike away from the films and give it to Feige instead. Feige now controls the movies while Ike still controls TV.
-Feige pushes Inhumans back and then "de-prioritizes" it.
-Presumably to save face, they decide to make Inhumans a TV show but have the pilot shown in IMAX theaters (also helps that IMAX is funding it).
