While Tendo did make the world revolve around himself, the only character to fawn over him was his little sister. Plus his God Mode Sueness was the result of years of preparation and training. He earned his feats, unlike America. This was shown in the first episode, and he's been pulling new talents out of his ass but more in a running gag fashion where anyone that noticed was in disbelief instead of admiration. And his Sueness served as a vehicle to motivate the other riders.

The world didn't revolve around him. He inserted himself when he felt it was necessary and every character in show despised him to some degree. They all in some way had to come to terms with him being him.
And he did spend years preparing himself, even going as far to learn shit that had no combat utility but could be used to gain an upper hand.
There are times when Tendou just stands in the wings and watches others. Letting them handle the situation and sink or swim. Kagami is one of those characters who many times told him to fuck off then when he was in trouble Tendou would in his self centered way inspire him to do better next time.
Tendou was the asshole who wasn't an asshole but you could never really tell is you didn't know him.

Technically Decade had no real ending or story for that matter.
But the theory is the main universes were restored and combined. But yeah he and the AU riders beat up Shadow Moon and Shocker and he since has been wondering around the multiverses.
I also like the idea that was used in the movies and book but never in show of Tsukasa being a Great Leader clone or something and in turn is the one responsible for the universes being forced to collide. It's like the Anti-Monitor being mindwiped then helping prevent the crisis.

Gentaro was an alright protagonist, but the show fell into all the traps I was hoping it wouldn't.

They failed to make the Horoscopes actually substantial threats and ended up demoting them to Monsters of the Week.

Gen's friends stopped mattering or having any import shortly after being collected.

And the ending was just trash, Gen punches the principal really hard and all of a sudden he understands friendship and explodes.

Pretty much most of the shows were either self contained or had very loose associations with each other. Toei saw that Kamen Rider crossovers were a big sell so they started to do them annually. Then they realized that franchises crossing over were even fucking better. Slowly old characters and shows started to be reworked and reintroduced and revived sales. So now they've reached a point where soon all Toei shows will be part connected to one another. That image is super old too. A lot has happened since then.
I can't wait for Space Squad movie series.
