Anyone watch the newest episode? It was actually an improvement

Watched it. Still terrible. Same problem as all current Marvel animation, it has terrible animation and it's almost entirely fight scenes which means it has nothing to offer.

Was really weird seeing Shocker and John Jameson as kids. It also still makes me a bit mad seeing Josh Keaton relegated to Norman Osborn when we all know he is the best Peter there is. But at least hee's getting paid and actually did a very good job as Norman.

I still can't get over how they have Anya and Miles in so early.

Gwen's a huge bitch. She gets saved, but then decides to complain and talk about science and how Spider-Man could have done a better job. I mean, at least her being a bit bitchy makes her stand out from the other spider-kids, who pretty much sperg out about science all the time.

It's also weird, seeing Norman being so caring to his son. I prefer their Spectacular Spider-Man relationship; this one is too lenient and dull. But at least his relationship with Harry is slightly more kind.

But why does Peter even keep his identity secret from Harry? I know it's tradition, but it would clear a lot of things up, make his friend happy, and make Peter's life easier.

Also also, I fucking hate Miles because of his eyes. I don't know, they just seem more anime-like than the others. He looks so off.

It's Raymond Warren, who was Miles's brother in the comics and Peter's science teacher (who Spectacular renamed Aaron, for some reason). They probably gave him a different name to differentiate him from Morales.

I didn't get that impression. He seems to be more molding Harry into the son he wants him to be. When he said he wanted to save Harry the "embarrassment", it sounded more like he was talking about himself. Plus, the "don't screw up again" at the end.

He's probably going to push Harry into being competitive against Peter and the other Horizon kids.

I say it's better than it was in Specacular, since Norman pretty much ignored and belittled his son for not meeting expectations. Our current Norman clearly cares about success more than his own son's wants and needs, but ht least this version makes an effort to help his son, instead of taking a sink-or-swim approach.

Not really a fan of it shaping up to be Super Hero Highschool vs Super Villain High School.

I guess it wouldn't work with the obvious Gone Goblin they're planning for him but I wish they'd have kept Harry a non-genius if they're going to have every other kid be one.

It'd would understandably be a bigger wedge between him and Pete, and if I'm honest, it's a little creepy how the cast is entirely made up of prodegies.
