Proteus: Loyal, childhood friend, a prince, willing to die for

I honestly wish we could have seen more of Sinbad and Proteus going full bro and kicking ass together.

Everyone in this movie was either unlikeable or dumb. Terrible cast.

The villain, Aeris, wins the award for dumbest. She had absolutely no reason to interact with Sinbad at all or form any sort agreement with him. She stole the book herself with no resistance.

The sacred artifact nessiary for the safety of the world is housed in a tower protected by a single guard; a tower she can easily just fly into through one of the open windows. The king of the city is said to have spent years constructing this elaborate system and considers it his life's achievement.
