How would you go about handling a modern Gargoyles movie?
Story?
Actors?
Animated or live action/cgi?
Im glad you asked
slight changes to the story, they weren't always at the castle before hand,
when they awake from their sleep a spell is cast so they can understand 21st century english, but the side effect is that they forget their names,
keep most of the actors, but replace the actor for broadway, Im sorry but no one would take it seriously if he had the voice of patrick.
animated.

Chalk it up to cultural differences.

best original superheros show?

Yes. Mainly because the focus on characters and relationships was impeccable. You loved and understood the villains just as much as the heros, and despite the all the magic and scifi, everyone was relateable and understandable.
