I love the "fantasy kitchen sink" concept of the Marvel/DC universes. Magic and aliens all existing along personal, smaller stories.
You can have the Celestials and the Galactus Seed existing in the same world as Daredevil struggling for his life to save someone in an obscure back alleyway.
These big, mythological stories about the creation of the universe or cosmic threats exist alongside grounded and personal stories.
That's why I love capeshit.
