Hey /co/. Did you make sure to wear protective lenses or not look directly at the eclipse?
I heard bad things could happen if you looked directly at it.
Only insomuch as ever staring directly at the sun for too long is bad for your eyes.

I stared at it for a few seconds and it was beautiful. A thin sliver of crescent sunlight leaking out from around an invisible moon, illuminating the dense clouds that couldn't hope to conceal its radiance. It stood at perfect contrast to how the city was all the dimmer for getting only partial sunlight. Now, give me super powers and not cancer please.

I see the sun and moon every day. Why should I care to see them both at the same time?
