Wanna get into Duck comics. What's the definitive reading list for Barks and Rosa's stuff? Any other writers I should read?

Hard to say. Opinions differ greatly on what Barks' best works are, and he wrote so damn much it's hard for me to make suggestions off the top of my head. I also don't remember the titles too well, so I could tell you "the one with the steamboats" and it probably wouldn't help you much. "Only a Poor Old Man" is pretty based, though, probably one of the best.
Rosa's library is great, and is small enough that you should really just read it all. Fantagraphics is releasing a chronological collection of his works, I think they have 6 or 7 volumes out so far. breaking it down, he's got enough material for 11 or 12 volumes all together, I think.
I'm sure some more well-versed anons can suggest some essential euro-duck stuff. It can be delightfully wacky and fun, but definitely read some Barks and Rosa first. I like Barks a lot, but Rosa's stories are my favorites.
