That scene in episode 2 when Matt and Jessica are trailing eachother, (which was actually super cute, and exactly the kind of thing I wanted more out of in this series), when Matt goes off and runs into an ally to parkour away and Jessica takes pictures of him.

There's NO FUCKING WAY Matt didn't hear that, or would allow it to take place. I was really expecting him to be there when she turned back around the corner, and was really disappointed when he acted surprised about the pictures when they finally met in that building.

Yeah; I understand little gags like 'you look like a damn fool' in Luke Cage, but for the most part it's just unnecessary and distracting.

The thing is, you can do passable big scale action even on CW's budget. Netflix Marvel is incredibly popular and they have Marvel money behind them; Ike is just a fucking spendthrift and he's in charge of Marvel TV.

It's not that the shows are small scale that bothers me; characters like Daredevil and Luke Cage are. But the depiction of all the spectacle that comes along with them is really weak and underwhelming.
