Anybody know a good news source for animation that's NOT Cartoon Brew?

Animation World Network (I think that's what it's called), but I don't check it too often.
CartoonBrew is good for getting information that /co/ never cares about, but at the same it's basically Amid Amidi's personal opinion blog and I don't like it on a personal level.

Yea I really don't like him either.
I follow a bunch of blogs in my RSS reader, here are some of the ones that still update:
http://www.animationforadults.com
http://animationfascination.wordpress.com
http://www.animationmagazine.net
http://www.animationscoop.com
http://www.animatedviews.com
http://www.awn.com
http://kylesanimatedworld.blogspot.com
http://kidscreen.com
http://www.rotoscopers.com
http://www.toonzone.net
Some of these are trade publications, some of them are hobbyist blogs.

Whats wrong with Cartoon Brew?

They're not called the TMZ of animation for nothing.

My first time hearing any of this.
Is there screenshots about this and whoever Amid is?
>>94750796
IIRC back in 2010 Amid wrote an alarmist article about the death of creator driven cartoons and used Lauren Faust and My Little Pony as an example. As a result of his sensationalism, it got /co/'s attention and they made a point to watch MLP when it aired.
And that's how Amid Amidi is responsible for Bronies.
For TV and film I'd recommend herehereas for foreign stuff and shorts your on your own

I'm not familiar with the guy. Why is he considered so bad?
>>94744553
Yeah, I mean I'm fine with cartoonbrew but I don't like how every once in a while you get an article that is just bashing a new movie because it's an obvious cashgrab or something like that.
We all know it is but as a good news site you're not supposed to make entire articles out of those opinions.
