Pretty much. It's good TV, but not really a Preacher adaptation.

Jesse's arc is really goddamn strong, though.

I'm liking Dennis desu.

I didn't hate the first season or mind that they weren't leaving the town until the end but some of the townie plotlines started to bore me after a while. This season feels like there's a lot more going on and not just more focus on the main characters but better use of them now that all the introductory stuff is done.
