Should I watch this before or after playing the Cybertron games?

It's been a while since I played those games, but I don't think their plot completely matches the backstory of TFP, so it's really up to you.

You won't really get a Prime backstory from the games.

War for Cybertron was modeled after G1, then they started steering towards Prime in Fall of Cybertron but at the same time Fall of Cybertron and Prime don't really line up properly.

Just watch Prime. It's worth it.

You forgot the crossover with Bayformers that takes place between the Cybertron games. It brings Dark Energon to the lore and connects it to the Cybertron games

Man I really love those games, I've beaten them a ton of times and still play through the story all the time, it's just like the adventures I'd have with my toys but in vidya form
