Yes. Mickey and the gang (As well as Looney Tunes and old cartoons in general) were huge in the 90's when artists were trying to bring back classic cartoons. But now it's been years and besides this now, the only other place you could have found Donald were the occasional new Mickey shorts or Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.
Ducktales in general seems like a very 90's cartoon who was successful thanks to Saturday Morning cartoon line-ups but the way kids watch TV is different now. I don't know how many kids are hyped enough to watch DT when the reboot might've been the first time they ever saw anything about it.
I found it boring.
