Naw... it was pretty good & not cheesy like #2. It was about acceptance & moving on by knowing when to step aside and letting the next generation take over.

It was interesting to watch the 1st movie & see Doc & the other older racers as washed up old fogeys (as seen thru McQueen's eyes). In Cars 3 you suddenly could see their perspective about the arrogance & undeserved sense of self-entitlement the "younger" racers had. It came around full circle.

It was fine, but /tumblr/ only talks about bings with waifus, and I guess the female cars aren't fuckable enough.

I mean it's not a great movie, so I'm not sad, but it's about on par with the first one.
