>American Japanese series
Not sure whether to put this on /co/ or /a/
It's only animated in Japan. Character designs, writing, etc, is all American.
You wouldn't put Batman TAS or Tiny Toons or whatever on /a/ because some episodes were animated in Japan.

it's anime if it was created in Japan for a Japanese audience. Anything else is just anime influenced animation.
i consider transformers animated the most american of the transformers shows, especially true for the 2d series.
what's the plural of series?
You know, I've always kinda considered Cybersix anime.
TF Animated, Beast Wars etc. is /co/
Stuff like Armada or Headmasters is /a/
but really /m/ is better overall for TF stuff in general
