Pic related for me. I felt so bad for him. He just wanted to know where's the bus-stop.

Any scene where someone has to watch helpless as something they cherish is destroyed fucks with me; The little Mermaid, Cinderella, Wreck-it Ralph stuff like that.

I have always as far as I can remember had trouble watching emotionally cringy scenes, just a character doing some embarrassing shit in front of people just hits a raw nerve for me and this scene is what I always think when I think about that.
>>
Secondhand embarrassment is the worst thing.

Alternatively, anything where a character gets in trouble for something they were trying to avoid. Like trying to get a friend to not skip school only to get in trouble for skipping school (and usually only them because no one notices the friend).
>>
>>94607404

I don't like "character does something embarrassing in public" episodes either, but the seal girl wasn't that bad.

What really hit me was the episode where Ginger asks her teacher on a date.
>>
Holy shit, what's that Hey Arnold episode where it's Helga's birthday or something? And no one pays attention to her or cares?

I remember being like 10 years old and weeping and not really understanding why
>>
>>94607509
I know it's not the worst it's ever been but for some reason, that initial scene of her taking stage and you can hear the 3 or 4 muffled chuckles before the crowd goes silent just imprinted on me that notion. It's my picture in the mental dictionary
>>

I don't know why this was such a recurring theme in this show, but it always sucked

Also that series arch where Arnold's retarded half-cousin getting to be with Lila, and Arnold is left to watch in envy and hate

I also hated every time Helga's parents yelled, scream, and fought while Helga was left and neglected.

Hated that stupid episode. She's way too old to do the babyish Seal Girl bullshit and yet even though Ginger was right about it being embarrassing? The damn writers wrote that the audience loved the immature babyish show that she gave about the Seal Girl.

I really hate when writers twist and turn everything to ensure there's a happy ending. /co/ should know all about hating that kind of shit, after all Mabel the unaccountable bitch exits and writers decree she must get her way.

They neutered this scene for the american release but the original was fucking brutal. Short version: adoptive chicken mom says goodbye to her adopted duck son in a big teary emotional scene, as he's all grown up and leaving the nest. They promise to meet up next year when his flock comes back. The fucking moment that duck son leaves, chicken mom immediately turns to the bad guy (weasel mom) and straight up asks to be eaten so that weasel mom can feed and take care of weasel babies, since chicken mom feels her job is done. Last scene is of chicken mom with her fucking neck broken getting dragged away by weasel.

>lots of things were off about that episode but i found it bizarre how mnay characters that were friends of or helped by arnold can be seen laughing at his humiliation
The point of the episode was that the "humiliation" wasn't anything too bad. Kids laughed at Iggy at school for, like a week, but he refused to forgive Arnold for SEASONS, forced him to do all his chores to "repay" him and humiliate himself on live TV. As much as Arnold had the right to be pissed over it, his own "humiliation" would end up being as long-running as Iggy's, maybe with an "embarassing childhood moment" to share with friends and family in the future since there was a video. The difference is in how the two dealt with this stuff.

>>94629471
>i found it bizarre how mnay characters that were friends of or helped by arnold can be seen laughing at his humiliation
That was actually pretty common in Hey Arnold, though. Whenever one of the kids was humiliated the rest would laugh at them, regardless of who it happened to or the situation. Kids are dicks so it's pretty realistic.

I had a love-hate feeling for Ren and Stimpy as a kid. Sometimes you were watching a cute little fart try to get home and dodge matches lit by funny looking hobos.

Other times you watched bees impale their stingers into a guy's tongue and wrench them off so violently that they disembowl themselves and it's weird white maggot stuff. Or Ren is going on one of his really over the top hyper abusive rants.

And I get it, that's the joke. Maybe they did things too well, because it just made me really uncomfortable, like you were watching somebody's dad about to beat them. And of course the fucking Senator Armstrong episode, which was pretty much that joke back to back. Then you learn about John's relationship with his dad and wonder how many god damn times he got whipped with a belt.

Oh man that is so horrible.
I gotta admit I still sometimes hate my mother for selling my toys any chance she could get. Almost always without asking me what toys I wanted to keep and even sometimes just ignoring me and selling the toy anyway. But if my mother were to destroy those toys right in front of me? I would be traumatized.

It sounds stupid to be so attached to toys (or inanimate objects in general) but I barely had any friends, my parents were both deadbeat, and in general I was very isolated when I wasn't being yelled at every day.

>Be me eight years old. Have a beautiful white cat growing up. He liked to get outside and play. Being kids we didn't know not to let house cats outside. One day we find her outside the trailer bloody and covered in piss. Mom took us with cat to the vet. They told our mom it would be best if she got put down. So we all said our goodbyes and were shuffled outside. I had to hold on to the box he was in. When we got home we dug a hole for him and buried him. To this day I'm reminded of him when ever a animal is seen hurt.

But he decides to humor the little lamb and promises to train him so he could get stronger, however he warns him that he will pay a price for that.

After a nightmaris training and growing up montahe, the cute, fluffy white lamb becomes...

...THIS. A completely evil, demonic looking ram who gave up on being a lamb and became what he hates the most: another murderer.

He eventually kills the wolf, but can't return with his own kin anymore, as they all fear him and consider him a monster way worse than the wolf.

Worse, he realizes too late that the wolf adopted and then raised him as a way to compensate him for killing his mother- he basically became his father and truly loved him despite knowing that the kittle lamb only wanted to se him dead.

Happy end? Haha NO. The protagonist now has nowhere else to go and is completely alone in the world, so he ventures into the icy mountains where he freezes to death.

THE FUCKING END.

I already thought my toys were sentient before this movie came out, but after I saw this scene I became phobic whenever my mom would force me to throw out or donate my toys. It felt like I was throwing away an actual person's feelings.

One time I cried at an Applebee's when I was 7 just because the wood dinosaur cutout that the coloring crayons came in was all doodled by previous kids, and it upset me that the dinosaur had graffiti since I thought its feelings were hurt. My mom couldn't console me, and the nice waitress tried to wash the crayon off the wood dinosaur in the back kitchen in vain, bless her heart.
