Wait, I just had a thought here. IF (and it's a big IF) this mini turns out to be a stealth prequel to Old Man Logan, there might actually be two or three versions of the Old Man Logan timeline here.

The first is the original Millar version, that one had non-vampire Jubilee, Steve still dead, Bucky as the Captain America who got killed by the Skull. Then there was the one we see in Bendis and Lemire's Old Man Logan stuff, who was introduced in Secret Wars as a sort of continuation of Millar's. He had memories of heroes and situations that weren't introduced until after 2009 (Miles, Kamala, Falcon as Cap) getting killed off. And he ended up in 616 as a result of Secret Wars. So his memories wouldn't be what happened in 616, but from his own world. Then this miniseries is using current stuff. Remember how in Civil War 2 Bendis decided to put in a scene where Ulysses saw the Old Man Logan timeline as another possible future for 616? Maybe that's the one we're seeing here.
