Mostly some of the best comics of all time, pretty much required reading if you're a fan of the medium and not just superheroes.

They vary. Hip hop Family Tree is a historical comic and is excellent. Krazy and Ignatz, and Peanuts are newspaper comic collections. Jason is just these amazing weird stories that are difficult to summarize. Angry Youth is pure scatological and violent humour.

There's a fair amount of variety there. Out of the books I've read om that list all are good.

Love Bunglers is one of the greatest comic arcs ever published. But it's not the starting point.
