That would be franchise co-creator Tom McGrath.
He wasn't supposed to do the voice, but they ended up using it for Madagascar 1 and I guess he just let himself continue to do the role in everything.

I loved the show myself. The character interactions were well balanced and diverse. The only thing that was a bit disappointing about this show was the lack of fur on some of the character models. Still, it was par for the course for what was available for TV CG animation at the time.

Awesome show.
The dubbing cast (from Serbia) made it even more awesome. One of the rare instances where I'm not interested in listening the original VA's. Will fondly remember it always.
