That episode really needed a flashback scene of Shadow Raker teaching Deadlock.

shame, it almost could have been my favourite episode if we had gotten to see what Deadlock was like and what made him go straight.

I stopped watching after like 6 episodes

Tell me, in all that time, did I miss ANYTHING worthwhile in this show?

Its simply terribly written. Rescue Bots which is aimed at 3-5 year olds is written ten thousand times better. My son started watching it on NF randomly and now I'm way more into than him. They actually have decent plots and great character development. I have high hopes for season 5 / Rescue Bots Academy.

not really POWs more of actual offenders under the law based on their records. pretty much the only war based related imprisoned con was stockade (military coup) the rest are mostly public nuisance (grimlock), criminal enterprise (thunderhoof, terrashock. scowl) or being nuts (springload, vertebreak) .

if non-alchemor cons come up in fixit's database, it's not that far fetched they got incarcerated once then chipped.

In all seriousness though, the main reason why this show fails aside from the fact they clearly did not get any a-game writers is because its a sequel targeted at tweens... for a continuity targeted towards teens/adults. It doesn't fix anything Prime got wrong and even worse its 5 frames a second with every kiddy show trope you wished would stop showing up.
