Considering their Transformers comics, I've little doubt it'll be at least similar to the Archie stuff. And what I mean by that is that there will likely be events of some substance happening.

Unless SEGA really goes full jackboot on them, we can probably expect at least something along the lines of Post-Genesis Wave Archie, since IDW seems to actually want to do interesting shit with its licensed properties.

That's what I'm saying, the only reason Archie even let it go to court in the first place instead of settling is because they were positive they would win, since many similar cases have been fought in the past and the creators are always the ones with the uphill battle. It took the Siegel & Shuster families and the Kirby family literally decades and millions in legal fees to get anything out of Marvel and DC for their creations.

Penders either lucked out or his lawyer knew the judge from the beginning and planned this whole thing out. The judge must have been either some kind of libertarian creator-rights nut or just was not familiar with this type of case at all.
