I don't trust it to be good at all.

The simple fact of the matter is that I do not trust anybody at any stage of the creative process to actually care about doing justice to the Justice League. It's a product, an entry to the series, a way to gauge consumer interest, a way to judge the potential demographics, a piece of market share. It isn't about the Justice League, it's about DC trying to solidify itself as the new big player.

I mean, where do I start? The scripting? The casting? The studio interference? The fact that Zack Snyder/Joss Whedon are both distinctly average directors?
And that's only the production process. As for the content itself, we know they're not going to do justice to Darkseid. We know that Superman's coming back for the final act. We know that they're going to introduce GL to set up GLC.

Let's face it - at this point we're basically all just suffering from Stockholm Syndrome. We keep coming back because we've forged a bond with it even though we know we're just going to keep getting hurt over and over again.

That being said, I still want it to be good. I really do. But I've been disappointed so many times before that DC now has very little latitude with what they can get away with and I just can't see them pulling a rabbit out of their hat with this.

Maybe after this, GLC and a few solo movies we'll get a good Justice League 2 with a line-up everyone knows and loves.

I've never read Hawgirl but apparently she's quite hated as a line-up member despite being surprisingly well-portrayed in the DCAU

I want it to be good, but I know it probably won't be. Unlike BvS, I do expect to see some nice action, so I'll at least be satisfied by that.

Still pretty butthurt about the New Gods being in (and inevitably being raped).

Rape Batman, Superman, Luthor, etc. all you want. they'll get another shot in 4 years. How many shots does the Fourth World get? I'll never see these characters on the big screen again.

Yeah sure, Whedon's one hundred cut action sequences are enthralling. The rest is just preference, Snyder and Terrio already said during BvS that Justice League was going to be lighter in tone than anything before.

I think it looks okay.
Steppenworlf being the villain and Superman being dead and having to waste time bringing back is lame.

The character interactions look fun though. Which is what the DCEU needs. It won't be the best cake film. But I think it will be a step in the right direction for the DCEU.

I'm more excited for the Aquaman movie and Batman solo movie honestly.
