You see, Teen Titans on Cartoon Network was popular, very popular, so when fans heard news of bringing in a new Teen Titans show, they shit their pants with hype.
What they got however was a silly show, and that is exactly what they didn't want. As we know, nerds do not take kindly to being disappointed, what was once hopeful and starry eyed now turned into bitter and jaded. This jaded and bitterness has caused a massive shitstorm, once we're still feeling today, and it wasn't unnoticed by the studio either, they cut and redubbed an episode of Teen Titans just to piss everybody off, don't believe me? Agree that it's an underrated show, it has more good episodes than bad ones, which isn't an excuse for being almost the only thing that CN broadcasts.

Why is this show even on CN and not on AS? As an AS show it could actually end up pretty good, AS is more chill with experimental stuff and this is that kind of stuff TTG is good at. Also, especially the Bee episode or that episode where the elderly versions of them travel back in time to force them to live healthy would work so much better. Not to mention that they could make more references towards other DC comics much easier, which is also a thing this show does pretty well.

The show feels extremly like an AS reject and is closer to Adult Cartoons than the stuff CN usually airs.
