Anyone else think that Sly Cooper is actually mediocre as hell? It just feels like a cheap tacky cartoon from the late 80s or early 90s. As a videogame it's too Automatic in mechanics to the point there is no satisfaction in clearing any missions. Jump & Hit Circle Button.

And anyone who says Carmelita Fox is a good character needs to kill himself. Bitch can be summed up in one word "Cooper!!!" Not even Amy Rose is as obsessed with Sonic. In fact, has Carmelita done anything that is not "Cooper!" Amy Rose was only like that in Sonic CD, in Adventure she beat that stalking robot, she helped that fliky bird which is tied to Gamma's storyline. In Adventure 2 she motivated Shadow to actually help save the damn world. In Heroes she along with the others collected a fraction of the chaos emeralds to help beat Metal Sonic, etc.

The point is, Amy does do stuff besides be a stupid annoying stalker. Carmelita Fox doesn't do anything besides be thirsty for Sly and without Sly? She'd never arrest any of the major criminals around the globe. Sly beats them up for her. Bitch is a terrible cop. And an unprofessional one as well because she's in love with a global criminal master thief, she puts her feelings above professionalism. Wish that even just one of the games started with her getting fired and blacklisted.

Sony is a part of the Sly T.V. show. God help us.

Sly has the potential to be a GREAT series, but I've seen too much great potential ruined by incompetence. I'm gonna go in with optimism though because it's all I have. The show should be 2D though. Animated == 3D is a movie thing. TV can still do 2D.

I mean, it might be decent, but not in the same way that Sonic Boom is. The only reason that Sonic Boom is good is because absolutely nobody cares what is going on with it, and so the writers can do whatever they feel like. Sony will probably be putting too much of a stranglehold on this, and so no amazingly ironic comedy poking fun at itself.

The only thing we've heard about the cartoon is that there's going to be one. What's ideal is if they make it a recap where each season covers a game and it leads up to a Sucker Punch Sly 5 (I'm half convinced the reason SP has been so quiet is that they want to do Sly 5 but Sonys been denying them.

Let's hope Sony doesn't put too much control, just enough that the people behind the show and come up with something interesting with the rules in place.
