Amazing no but, Garfield was a pretty funny strip throughout the late 70's and 80's. I still have like the first 8 compilation books and reading them still gets hearty chuckles and amused smiles out of me.
The Garfield comic strip should have ended ages ago but, man, I will defend the fuck out of early era Garfield.
