Anon never buys things.

Unironically it's most easy to find in other languages than english.
well the english versions available are both not on the internet.
there are the black & white british edition called "The complete E.C Segar Popeye"
you could find some random pages about.
and there is the deluxe fantagraphics edition, in color and very very complete.
I never found any of two on the internet, the most complete thing I found about the british edition is a french reprinting by Futuropolis. (not a problem for me because i'm french but I can't storytime that here)
pic related is page about.

I should have known French in my life.

If you look on some panels you could see "Great Britain right reserved"
the Futuropolis edition obviously take the pages from the british ones.
I guess original american pages are very rares.
there is also some random pages made by Segar on the 40's Four color comics, but not a complete plotline.
Anyway the books with Bud Sagendorf stories are more interesting, because the early popeye stories from the 30's have a weird atmosphere on and not a real meaning of continuity.

Don't know. Which is weird considering the comic started in 1919 which would make the 1919 to 1922 stuff public domain, so you'd think someone would have an archive up.
Incidentally, since Olive Oyl appeared in 1919 she might be public domain, but only her appearances up until 1922.

I think it's mainly to do with Popeye going into the public domain in Europe and the UK years ago, but is still under copyright in the US.

Futuropolis made also a book with the 30's Betty Boop comic strips.
concerning stuff from Popeye made by Segar, I downloaded all this shit from Library Genesis, I noticed there is also some stuff on spanish and italian, but the english content is more focused on Bud Sagendorf with "Popeye Classics" than the early 30's pages.
So to make it clear and helping OP (and other interested fags) somebody know if "the complete E.C Segar Popeye" british books are available to download?
the new colored fantagraphics editions are too huge and too fucking long, I already tried to find them online but impossible, you must buy it to get it.
