Finishing up Scooby-Apocalypse.
A rather surprisingly well done story of survival.
And here we go...
That first panel is amazing.
some times captcha is a bitch

Sorry to hear that.
If you're meaning me - I just wait the 5 minute delay so I can self-bump.
Don't have one of those rotating IPs.
What fun.

scooby has been one of those few titles in the current run that really just came out of left fiend and is better than most people expect imo
its very similar to justice league 3000/3001, but where those just dragged on eventually and became hot messes of subpar quality, this really has stayed great for most of the run
>>94205168
Yeah, I think it's the built-in need for urgency and the consistently serialized nature that are really helping it out.
Run for the hills!
Wonder how they'll get out of this one?
To be continued!
In a few weeks I gather.
Hope someone out there enjoyed this.
I sure did. See you around.
>>94205631
many thanks
>>94205631
man I hope they don't kill this dog. I can't handle all of this dog death
>>94204223
I realy enjoy your story times. Do you have a reading list of your favorite ones?

>>94205487
Classic
>>94205631
Fuck man why does it always have to end when shits about to go down.
>>94205631
Thanks, Anon! After a very busy week, your story-time was just what I needed to relax a bit.
Anyone else is surprised on how they are handling Scrappy? For a bit it looked that they were going to turn him in a full-on villain like in the movie, but so far he is like the Venom to Scooby's Spider-man. Pretty cool shit

Jim Lee's idea of Scooby and the gang?

So you'll be desperate to read the next issue.
Bumpan
Any idea how many issues are left to go?
>>94220646
It's been solicited up to 18, but I think they're going to stick with "one of Velma's brothers did it" and that leaves only two suspects since two are dead.
Man, this is a decent enough apocalypse comic, but holy hell it has fucking nothing to do with Scooby. It should be an original property.
It's not even self-aware like the whole Riverdale zombies thing, it's just an alright monster apocalypse story with some really unnerving Scooby redesigns shoved into the main roles
>>94220755
It's the exact same as Afterlife With Archie, I think.
In that it places the genre first over the property.
Afterlife isn't very self-aware, it's more Sacasa not being able to NOT shove in genre savviness and references.
>>94205631
Bump
front
>>94204238
Since when Green Arrow became part of the gang?
>>94205631
I'm getting confused/conflicting vibes from the relationships/feelings in this. Could just be
What will the endgame relationships be (if there will be any at all)?
Daphne and Fred?
Daphne and Velma?
Velma and Shaggy?
Daisy and Shaggy?
Or do you think they'll actually just keep everyone as friends for the entire story?
>>94228775
Same here.
Everyone's interplay can be read/perceived either way.
I think Velma has the hots for Shaggy though.
>>94230207
I agree.I'm kinda hoping for it too. A lot of AU's usually do the Daphne/Velma route. The way Shaggy and Velma are written in this comic in terms of their contrasting personalities and outlooks on life would create an interesting relationship dynamic.
>>94228775
>>94230207
What about Daphne+daisy+velma+shaggy? The one TRUE endgame!
>>94230540
>She's not right for you
>I hope she isn't your type
So into him
>>94230670
Thing is like every other thing in this comic is that you can read that in different ways.
I was expecting her to offhandedly say something like 'You should be looking for someone more intelligent, someone who you've know longer'. You know, like a sentence that really seals the deal and proves her interest. But no. It just trails along and I'm left waiting for that dialogue or scene that confirms/denies it. This is really a cocktease of a comic.
>>94230554
Daisy and Fred will happen after their brush with death and then set in motion the gang to re-evaluate their feelings to each other.
