Nolan's Batman Trilogy not being part of the DCU and the lead up to Justice League was DC's biggest mistake. Now it just looks like what it is: DC scrambled together something quick to cash in on Marvel's MCU. DC is disorganized, and it shows in their movies. I refuse to believe they couldn't work Nolan's Batman into the Justice Leauge universe, or atleast have found a way to keep Christian Bale around as Batman. Marvel won before the fight even began.

Also Ledger died so how could they replace that? Someone as big as the Joker wouldn't appear just once.
