How did the Fifth Season of Samurai Jack stack up against other

It strikes me as odd that you would want to compare an action adventure show that takes it's cues from fairy tales and fantasy pulp to a comedy that takes it's cues from South Park and Black Mirror

Apart from some missteps, it was pretty good

it ran on hype, nostalgia fuel, and a promised resolution. that is why we watched it. it didnt really overthrow anything that's still running. that whole April Fool's mini-marathon of the Rick and Morty season premiere didnt faze me at all and i enjoyed it

I kind of hoped it would've been 8 stand-alone episodes in the bad-ass style of the first 3 episodes more like the OG series then with a big 2-part battle finale. As it stands it was still better than most Adult cartoons, would take it over Rick & Morty any day.
