Why are season 1 and 2 commentaries meh but season 3 Great?

Season 1, and 2 are more of the set up to show this show is a parody setting of johnny quest, and shows of that time before it. After that, it starts to become its own things.

I think, while each season is better than the last 1 and 2 are still great, in fact season 2 finale being some of the shows best moments.

They had more to talk about in the later seasons because they had a better idea about what they were doing. A more sophisticated internal development dialog means a more sophisticated external dialog about development.

Not really they kinda just feel like podcasts where they talk about there day and random shit they think on the spot, they rarely talk about the writing process or animation details. though I haven't listened to the season 6 commentaries yet
