It really seems that all the criticisms of the DCEU are pretty shallow and can be sumed up in a few categories.

Usually being observations that come from failure to catch or understand something clearly presented, or often a blanket non specific criticism about direction that would usually reveal they only saw the trailer and tiny bits from youtube.

And often i've seen criticisms of points that straight up do not exist, showing they've parroted something from other people either misrepresenting or fabricating (intentionally or not) a scene that never happened.

And often when you try and rebutte these people who have made up their mind they just deny it and claim you're reaching but the scene is clearly there and done that way.

Every now and then you get a genuine criticism based on the editing of the theatrical release or a personal preference against this style, and thats FAIR, but its not and objective look at the end products effort.

I mean i liked suicide squad but i would have edited it or scripted it better, its clearly the weakest film, but there is still a lot to appreciate and like in the movie.

Lol, no, they've made financial hits, said fuck the critics, and whedon is only editing 10 minutes of scenes not even shown in the trailer because Zack's daughter died and had to jump ship for the last part of post production.

Wonder Woman was solid overall, but it was not fantastic in the slightest. Patty Jenkins' played to Gadot's clear weaknesses as an actress, but she can't pull off being naive in future films. Frankly, the entire third act was a mess.
