If Lego can work over multple movies. I think we need and seriously deserve a Funko Pop movie. The brand is hot. It's instantly recognizable and unique. Tons of characters and types being made so we can have cameos everywhere.

I just think they're cute

I think the day a Funko Pop movie opens in theaters is the day I go for James Holmes' high score.

I think we should line up everyone who owns one of these abominations and execute them.

No. They're popular, sure, but they're just figures of popular characters in a uniform style. Lego has much more than characters in their own style; it has decades worth of mix and match figures and building blocks. The second part is probably the most important since it allows the Lego movies to have a very recognizable aesthetic in terms of geography while also having varied locations. Funko Pop simply doesn't have the same degree of variety and creativity that Lego has for it to work as a movie franchise.
I think they'd do it if they thought it would make money, but the reason lego works is because they have in-jokes. Like everyone knows the physics around how a lego piece works and all. A funko movie would just be a cartoon in the style of those dolls which is fine, but there's nothing special about them in functionality.

How would they talk when they got no mouths
>half-ass attempt to cash in fake-ass nerd as "figurine" with the same face as always if the models are human
vs
>nearly a century old toy brand with unlimited way to express creativity
those bead eyes box heads were a mistake.
